Violation: Failure to distribute Notification of Known or Potential Service Line Containing Trifold by Deadline Date for Compliance with LCRR Pottawatomie County RWD2 was required to certify to KDHE that each resident was notified of the type of service line material serving their residence. Distribution of the Known or Potential Lead Trifold was required to be delivered, completed and uploaded by 06/01/2025. Missing the distribution date resulted in a status of non-compliance and requires notice and correction to return to compliance with regulatory standards. This is a Tier 3 violation requiring public notice within one year of the monitoring violation date. This violation is regulatory in nature and requires no immediate action from our customers.
There will be a trifold mailed to each account required and will contain relevant information in regard to lead regulations. No alternate water supply is required for our service area and after trifolds are distributed the violation will be resolved and RWD2 will return to compliance with regulations.
